Do you ever ask yourself, "Now, where did I read that?"

When only a fragment of a Bible passage stirs our thoughts, the full verse can usually be located through online apps. My "go to" method is a Google search by typing all that I remember of the verse followed by a few spaces and the word "scripture"  I think "scripture" helps Google. Otherwise, he takes off in search of everything ever written. Best wishes for your search.

The above thoughts remind me of a couple of passages from the New Testament. The writer of Hebrews 2:6 said, "It has been testified somewhere ..." That was written about 2,000 years ago, but now we can Google to find where "somewhere" is, and I did. It was written by David, Psalm 8:4, about 1,000 years before the writer of Hebrews referred to it.

I'm reminded, also, of Acts 17:11 which tells of early Christians who described as "noble" because they  " " ...examined the scriptures every day ..."  By reading God's word and treasuring it in our hearts, we can be prepared to speak with others about Jesus' gift of salvation.
