During the years that my late husband preached for a church on Maine's north coast, I wrote Bible lessons and stories to share with women in Downeast Maine. I've been sorting through my files and would like to continue to share them with anyone who would be inclined to such a study.  Each lesson or story is brief. The first one begins with a scriptural narrative of Genesis. They might be used for reading bedtime stories to children as well as for "brush-up reading" for parents and grandparents.

Looking through my material, I stopped and reread Lesson #2 which mentions God's wonders in the beautiful state of Maine where I was blessed to live for so long.

My prayer is that each reader will benefit greatly from these narratives. Click on "Bible Stories" on the menu at top right.

A scripture to share: Deuteronomy 6:6 and 7 tell of parents' responsibility to teach their children -- "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." KJV
